Mediation and Alternative dispute resolution (ADR):

We encourage negotiation and mediation whenever possible to reduce the emotional stress and financial burden that litigation can bring. We have attorneys who are Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Civil and Family Mediators available to mediate civil and family law cases. In some cases, mediation is neither appropriate nor effective and in those cases, we are very capable and willing to go to court on behalf of our clients.

Civil and Criminal Appeals:

You are entitled to appeal your court decision should you be unhappy with the decision. In those cases, we are well-qualified and competent to handle your appeal. There are certain time restraints on all appeals, so contact us as soon as you decide you wish to pursue your appeal rights.

Business and Commercial Law:

We can help with your business needs, including contract negotiations and formation of your corporation. We also litigate commercial disputes, including construction litigation and contract disputes.

In every practice area, we have built a reputation for successfully fighting for our clients’ rights and interests. We are committed to obtaining positive results and will advocate for our clients’ interests as long as it takes. We respond to each client and each case with diligence, understanding and an in-depth knowledge of the law.

We invite you to contact our offices for a consultation concerning your legal matter via

**By sending us an email, you understand that an attorney-client relationship is not established until such time as an attorney in our office has been formally retained by you  and you have entered into a written retainer agreement.  You should not send confidential or sensitive information via email.  The content of any email sent to Byrd & Hood will not be treated as privileged or confidential until such time as an attorney-client relationship is established as described above.
